  • 250 g of tagliatelle
  • 2 tbls olive oil from the can of tuna
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 4 tbls chopped parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 cans of tuna in oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 oz (75 gms) butter
  • Salt and pepper

Heat the olive oil and add the garlic and parsley.

Stir continually over a low heat, gradually adding the drained and flaked tuna.

Cook pasta, following the manufacturer’s directions. Drain and turn into a heated dish. Add the sauce and stir, then add the lemon juice, grated cheese, the butter divided into small pieces and salt and freshly ground pepper. Stir well and serve at once.
